Losing your drawstring used to mean that you might as well buy new shoes, but that is not the case with the drawstring threader.  This is an ingenous tool to add a drawstring to a ballet shoe or pointe shoe, replace missing drawstrings, or replace a cotton drawstring with an elastic drawstring.  This is also great for drawstrings missing in garments too!   String elastic also available.
